The bros must've loved this game when it came out for its aural sensations.

...I just hope they were playing NTSC 60hz version instead of the PAL 50hz that has been relegated to those feudal peasants of the hills of Edinburgh that should be looked down upon for an untrained eye.

Always got BOC vibes from this game. The grotto music tends to be of the Brian Eno ambient variety and there was even some of it that sounds like Thursday Afternoon. Ironically, being a big Zelda fan as a kid makes Eno's excursions onto ambient all the more fun for me because I imagine I'm in one of those subterranean caves.
Warning: This numerology post is not to be taken 2 seriously.

Aye, it's one of the few games I've ever played that manages to occasionally dip directly into the "Geogaddi Zone":

Most other Nintendo soundtracks aren't really that close to sounding like BoC but the Pikmin series is one of the few that also has tunes which manage to scratch the same musical itch:

If The Campfire Headphase was a butterfly, would Acid Memories be the caterpillar?
Spoiler: show
Unfortunately I have no clue lmao. But while you're here, go ahead and check out some of my tunes! You might dig 'em and stuff!

Majora's Mask also has an incredible soundtrack. Song of Healing, Final Hours, Oath to Order, Astral Observatory. Great stuff!

So much nostalgia, we should have a dedicated video game ost thread

Song of Healing is basically Diving Station anyway.

In here is a tragedy, art thou player or audience?
Be as it may, the end doth remain:
all go on only toward death.
...
There is nothing which cannot become a puppet of fate
or an onlooker, peering into the cage.

I agree with all of the above but isn't it redundant to have this thread when there's already a thread dedicated for BOC-like video game osts

It is, but this is the thread that inspired the other.

Tekken's Monument Valley Theme gives me impending doom BoC vibes... Maybe hearkening to Hell Interface vibes specifically.

The soundtrack to this game is perhaps one of the best ever made period. I was floored by it
