What kind of moderation should Twoism.org adopt?

Dear Twoism members,

But times change, and so does the internet. That’s why we'd like to hear from you: how should Twoism approach moderation in the future? There’s no right or wrong answer, this is an opportunity to reflect together on what we want this community to be, and how we interact with one another.

Please take a moment to vote in the poll. Your input will help us shape the future of Twoism in a way that reflects the values of its members.

Help we’re fighting,

Given a little while has passed since cosecha-transmisiones first changed without any further updates, I'm starting to wonder if 'nobody home' is the equivalent of the black box on the band's old website rather the beginning of a new ARG...

Whatever comes of it though I've no doubt it'll be worth the wait.

I will point out a few things:

Music Has the Right to Children released April 20 1998

The record store day incident was April 20 2013

Between April 3 and May 1 2025 the Cosecha-transmisiones site was changed to the Nobody Home message and April 20 falls within those two dates

The Nobody Home update to Cosecha-transmisiones was observed on May 1st which is May Day in Scotland and also is used as a distress signal in aviation

"Nobody Home" the 16th track on The Wall by Pink Floyd.

Notice the 3 dots (Nobody Home...), 3 tracks on.. 16+3=19

Track 19 is "Comfortably Numb"

"I have become Comfortably Numb"

A song that remninices about childhood feelings "when i was a child, i had a fever"

"The child is grown
The dream is gone
I have become comfortably numb"

It says the site was updated 2025-03-24, I think it went unnoticed for awhile.

Also, I think the message is clear... nobody is receiving the message.

WHOIS doesn't track updates to site content, only changes to domain registration

It's also possible that there's nothing on the horizon.

Mostly likely, something is on the way, but it's not 100% definite.

We don't know for sure it's BoC running their instagram, and a like on a comment could be just that, meaning that they or whoever runs the account likes the comment (and that they would also like for there to be a new album). I doesn't 100% mean that it has a secret wink behind it meaning that an album is coming soon. There's at least some small chance that the likes are "just a like".

And MDG saying a new album on the way, OK more than likely he's right, but he's also said in the past there will be a BOC set of old material, and that never materialized. Just saying it's not impossible for him to be wrong on these things.

The common sentiment in MDG's statements regarding the bocset seems to be highlighting Warp's and BoC's interest in this project and at the same time the enormous time involved. I certainly wouldn't dismiss his claims lightly.

And btw. BoC's Instagram account is obviously as legit as can be. And whoever uploads the videos, likes the comments, is really irrelevant. No BoC related party will screw with their account for fun.

And of course there is meaning behind cherry picking 36 comments that all revolve around the topic of new music and giving these a like, over the course of 7 weeks and 6 individual days. Two even on a bank holiday. Late in the evening. That's one of them for sure! Unless we really think that's a Warp intern doing overtime...

At the very least it means a new album is coming. Just like MDG told us so in 2022. And similar to what the Threads post (future news, announcement) hinted us in 2023.

It's not that deep. And it's not unlike the road to TH either. That one started in 2007 already.

I completely agree with all of the above but then again, good luck getting that message across to folks who play math games with social media likes to prove a new album is imminent.

Don't be cynical. There's no way they would've given out all those likes specifically addressing the new album. They know better.

Well,

If they are still on the same schedule as Grand Theft Auto, might not be until next year now.

Lol.

To be clear I don't think there is really a connection between Rockstar Games and BoC, but it is just kind of funny to me that the masters / absolute perfectionists and game changers of the videogame industry have been on a similar release schedule since GTA V.

We could do without the lies. We never said the likes meant an album is imminent. It's just another signal a new album is on its way. On an official site. That's something totally different.

I wonder if "Nobody Home" is a comment on AI, with its lack of true understanding and absence of consciousness.

Every single light is on - but there's nobody home.

I like this thought.
