Convince me they’re not intentionally sadistic towards their own fans. Go.

I love the merch, but as a fat bastard, they don't offer a XXXL. I'm could fit in a XXL, but I'd look like a damn sausage. Better get in the gym.

It sure feels like it.

A quick overview:
The buildup is nice to see, right?

They are normal lads with a life and families to look after, they are quiet, private people - stop filling their shadow with crap like this.

They’re piss takers that’s for sure. Wishing for depopulation and hiding messages in track titles about being the satanic elite. Then making an apocalyptic album called Tomorrow’s Harvest. Absolute legends. My kind of humour. Probably Freemasons too.

Legends

Thx Fred! That list definitely shows a tightening of the cadence.

From the looks of it, it's going to be 'Here Come the Rubber Cops' (which we have heard before), 'Feels With Me' and 'The Protection of Happiness Generator', with the last one being co-written by Mike.
Out and about.

Nobody home..

Its the name of the album, its already released - its a concept album with no cover, just a website for a limited duration. All tracks are remixes of magic window.

Got my pre-order for the sexual objects goodness.

I could imagine how bonkers this community would go if the announcement from Warp read:

"This year Boards of Canada is rereleasing every old album starting with Catalog 3 through Hooper Bay, are rereleasing their 4 main studio albums with all cut songs quadrupling the length of every album, and also releasing a new 3 disc album and have partnered with Roland to include a NOS Roland SH-101in a special hazy green color. Plus a new art book of their studio with discrete instructions on how each song was made step by step.

THAT is the release we deserve!

MDG had this to say about a merch drop in 2009:
The new tees appeared as a positive response to the fact that the old stock had run out and new requests for tees were being received by Warp. There had also been some complaints about the lack of updates/broken links on the official site, so the links were changed to show the new stock. While some fans have welcomed a sign of life at the official site, others have used it as an excuse to vent and complain again.

I should point out that none of this has anything to do with the band. The idea that these trivial updates are in some way a result of the band nurturing a 'mysterious persona thing' is totally laughable; they're simply too busy working on the new records. BOC don't deal with their sites or merchandise any more than to approve the items, despite erroneous claims that they designed the shirts.

Could be a similar situation again. However it's kind of ironic that "BoC dropping subtle hints about upcoming activity in the form of something like a merch drop" in order nurture to an enigmatic presence was totally laughable according to him, when they absolutely played into that persona with the TH marketing campaign

Is it trying to tell us something? I tried a little bit after "nobody home..." Morse code to see if I could translate this track into dots and dashes, letters and numbers, but it didn't reveal anything to me. Morse code with reverb is harder. I still love how clean this sounds! To my thinking, the whole reason for the recent cosecha site message was -probably- to teach Morse code to its readers. For some unclear reason.

I don't know, maybe it was generated by some math function, who knows.

The interesting thing was that the original ARG didn't include morse code.

The end of "Slow this bird down" had morse code at the end, but thats about it.
