Well, I've been reading Twoism for quite a while since discovering BoC, and finally decided to take part.
About me, well... I discovered BoC in "The We and The I", a movie by Michel Gondry that I loved. It was not that long ago, since it was released in 2012 (lucky me, I only had to wait one year before being able to hear newly released BoC songs), and well... since then, my love for BoC has been growing. Being from France, I always find it surprising not to find more BoC lovers around me (are y'all in UK/US or something?)
come out and live in a religious community, in a beautiful place out in the country

Hello all! I've been a fan of BoC for a couple of years now. I can't remember exactly why I ended up listening to them....I think I was on a Lustmord kick, and looked up artists similar to and discovered Aphex Twin and fell in love with his ambient "Vol. 2" album. Then somehow I stumbled upon BoC and downloaded MHAWTC and was blown away. I've only had that feeling of........well, I can't describe it but its only happened a couple of times: Metallica's "Ride The Lightning" when I was 11 and Emperor's "Anthems To The Welkin At Dusk" when I was 13. I was just completely mystified but at the same time I was thinking "What in the world IS this?". So unlike anything I'd ever heard before.

My music has taken a totally different turn because of these guys. I don't want to be another BoC wanna be, but I do "borrow" certain elements.

I think BoC is one of the worlds best kept secrets....and I hope they always stay that way so that only the truly adventurous may discover them for themselves :o

Long term BOC fan, great to be here:

I must say I agree with Amo and Noby - IABPOITC is - to these ears at least - their finest moment bar none. See our review in TNPC

I'm Nick, and I love Boards of Canada. So much to the point that I'm joining a forum to share that love and discuss their infinite peculiarities.

Hi I'm aerial boundaries. I like The Beatles (especially the one with the cool hair) and Jerry Garcia. I am the proud owner of the extremely rare Geagaddi limited release album on tie die vinyl. I wouldn't expect any of you to know it because Bords of Canada sent it to me with a thank you note for being their fan numero uno for many years. It is a plesure to be able to share said note with you:

Trading in that roland space echo for a couple of signatures is a bad deal imo.

Hello everyone. I've been a Boards of Canada fan since around 1999 or so. The first album I listened to was probably Music Has The Right To Children. I was taken in by it and have been a serious fan ever since. I've never really delved into other fan's theories on their music, but since I've been listening to The Campfire Headphase nonstop the last few weeks, I decided to get more involved in the community. Right now I'm thinking a lot about The Campfire Headphase and how it's structured, how it sounds, and how, after listening to Tomorrow's Harvest earlier this week, how jarring (in a good way!) it is in comparison. I'm also interested in finding a way to get some BoC stickers, and maybe finally get a t shirt. I've never really picked up any BoC merchandise, feeling that the music is so heavy that I basically wear it with each and every listen. Anyhow, glad to be here and looking forward to some great discussions.
