Massive thread makes me happy. Still have TH in the rotation heavily, I will gladly take more when ever it's ready!

nevermind. I bet it'll be over a year, but I bet it'll be darker than twoism in a different way. I want another scary psychedelic album!

To be fair, what Joyrex said kind of get me excited! It does make sense to me in some sort of weird way that they wouldn't want to wait a few years to release something again. The whole Record day extrafaganza, in my mind it was some way of saying that they'd be back for a good period of time now. But I'm probably too hopefull.

can someone update me on what update there was? I'm a little confused

Cheers, found it.

Joyrex:
"From what I've been told, they are working on their next album, and the intent was to have less of a gap between this upcoming release and Tomorrow's Harvest.

The fact they would be revamping their site (and announcing it no less) means sooner than later - so hopefully before the end of the year"

As much I want another album soon I'm not that eager because I'm still getting a lot out of Tomorrow's Harvest. I kind of want more of that stuff. A related EP would be great, but they've probably left that era behind.

Tomorrow's Harvest is a radical record , and I hope they continue moving in that direction , without holding back ...

TH sounds so much like a sound track that I really hoped for a film of video release to go with it at the time, another LP would be nice, but I'd hope for a new release followed by some melty psychedelic videos!

Gotta agree with you guys. I am loving TH so much right now. I'd love to hear some other tracks they did from those sessions.

I believe I read in an interview with BoC that they said that while making TH they came up with like 3 albums worth of material... so I'm figuring they'll put together an Ep from that material soon or at least next. Considering they have followed that pattern in the past. But since they're known for throwing us off as well.... who knows. I've also wondered about that rumor of an anthology of old material remastered in some form officially released. Anything is always welcome!!!!

ah ok, I was late to read the new clear dawn update thread, but now I'm up to speed, thank you. I find this fascinating. When these fellows speak, there's some sort of truth that is verbatim. I think that we will hear from them sooner than we all might expect, maybe not in tradition of the TH promotion but I think that these guys will reveal material when it is ready. I respect their approach and I think that when they're ready to put something out again, the detail and awesomeness of the new muzak will reflect their choice for whenever that may be. I'm sure whenever they put something new out, it will be damned good... or the joke's on me

It would be cool if they compiled those albums and put them up on their site or released a BoC Bootleg Series. That way they could get that stuff out there but not dilute their official catalog.

Each BOC album is significantly different so I would think the TH vibe wouldn't be revisited on the next release. I think we should expect the unexpected.

However, I am interested to see how they compartmentalise their work.

If, as it is said, they have been working on different albums simultaneously, it would take an enormous amount of focus and discipline to separate each work and not allow stylistic characteristics to overlap.
