BOC are responsible for many a case of apophenia.

I don' think TH has a seasonal vibe of any kind. Gloom is gloom in sunshine or snow.

I always pictured TCH as an early autumn album. It's the only one that was released in the time of year that it felt like, so I guess this stuff is all subjective. I think we will get something in October or December this year (October 6th or 20th, or December 8th), I wonder if people will think it sounds like its season.

No question, TCH will always remind me of mid bOctober's fading hues...

TH definitely starts in June from my perspective, Gemini Reach for the Dead and White Cyclosa are all June/July/August tracks, it sounds like the album then moves chronologically towards the end of the year in the middle before going back to a Summer (Albeit a completely different and far more ominous one).

Oui? No?

They still haven't fixed entry You Could Feel the Sky on Soundcloud, so I'm convinced by now that it's intentional.

With the Sun related steps immediately following Over the Horizon Radar in the YouTube playlist (Korona/Twoism Sunset), here's some light reading to pass the time.

I think they (warp) left a few tracks out so there would be 69 tracks on soundcloud.

Just one from Geogaddi, track 21. Every BoC track since the Peel Session is there (including duplicates of Dayvan Cowboy across releases, Magic Window, etc)

They could have easily dropped a single track from Tomorrow's Harvest (which is present and complete in the list of 69 tracks, but does not appear in the album list) if they wanted to do that. Or for that matter, either of the 2 tracks from the Odd Nosdam release.

They created and deleted a Geogaddi playlist on April 21st as well, which is what drew peoples' eye to it in the first place.

All the chilled out guitar stuff reminds me of 'Hissing of Summer Lawns' era Joni Mitchell.

Reeks of Trans-Atlantic Summers to me :)

I think an albums release date is down to convenient market trends. What we don't know is when the material was recorded and in what environment and climate.

Yep. It was released in June and I'll always, always associate TH with the long summer that followed that glorious spring build-up - including that first clifftop sojourn in Dorset. By the time I'd fully absorbed every song it was late summer and it felt to me as though the whole album had taken on a burnished, almost sun-bleached quality.

Anyway. *returns to washing up*

I remember was going to a festival in august that year, and was not-surprisingly on a "boc-trip" and was praying for someone to drop a boc tune on a stage...

Also anyone remember that 822 thing? there was some hype, that maybe they going to release an ep that day..

For sure...back when everyone thought only being teased by them for a couple months with some sort of resolution was realistic!

I don't think anything will happen with 822 or even 821 (date of the total solar eclipse this summer) even though I think the concept of the eclipse's date will play a part in some of their future posts in the near future. 822 would have been a Tuesday this year, which at the time of the cosecha-transmisiones.com website, was when new releases still came out in the States.

Good find - did someone dig this up last year too? It sounds really familiar, even though I'd forgotten that anyone had come up with an explanation for it.

I wonder if this means the new release (as much as I'd like it to be the fabled BoCset) will be a companion album to TH. It definitely reinforces my belief that it would be coming October 6th (reversal of June 10th, TH's release date) or December 8th for "winter", about as close to 6 months after TH's "summer" release date as possible.

It's a good time to point out that 24 is "seeds" and 42 is "harvest":

It's not on iTunes. It's unlikely to be on bleep either. If you want it on your music player, you'll have to go a-sailin matey.

Ensure BOC get their 99p and play it on repeat about 20000 times on Spotify. Easy ;-)

I think he means repeatedly play it on Youtube to earn BoC the $0.01 per listen in ad revenue, Cyclosa
