This song and performance is a technical masterpiece.
Why? Because not only is he using the body of the guitar for the percussion, while at the same time taking the tuning and the sounds they make mid-strum to simulate a kind of synthesizer, but this is also perhaps, and debatably, the most sincere sounding solo guitar composition I've ever heard a man sing. It's so human. In the same stretch it's awe inspiring, and the song itself is blindingly beautiful.

A homeless friend I knew for a long time showed me this one day in the middle of the street a few years ago, sharing with me how it affected him. So forgive my gushing. I revisit this video so much, and I wanted to share it with you. :P
