Fuck me, that new 'E7' track is lovely.

Regarding SOTL on vinyl, lovely artifacts to have but for me flipping the records would disrupt the flow I've grown accustomed to via digital. I do still need to hear '24" Cymbal' or whatever the vinyl exclusive is for Ballasted.

Sounding so exciting!

Just completely caved and spent way too much on The Tired Sounds LP.. ah well, something to treasure.

Totally. I've listened to it way too many times over the past few days. Just lovely. Any idea what the spoken word part of it is?

I think Avec Laudenum is my favorite album in the world; such immensity and desolation... Hunting for moths in a windless country field on a warm, summer evening. Cabin lights still visible, grass up to my neck.

Decline will always be my favorite.

My favorite (instrumental) song(s) of all time are Even if You're Never Awake & Even (Out)+

And then there's that lovely flow from Tippy's Demise to Mouthchew to December Hunting. Just... wow.

I get the feeling from years of posts with you that we'd get along just fine.

No doubt, hopefully someday a full blown North American Twoism meetup can occur!
How is the '...Nitrous Oxide' reissue that I sold to you doing? ;)

Why don't you guys make it over for this years In a Beautiful Place Down by the Seaside? Would be awesome to get some transatlantic folk involved!

It's from Terrence Malick's 'The Thin Red Line' :)

Just a little thing I'm throwing together following last year's beautiful event.
Follow the trail here and if you're interested, let me know.

FYI - the only tape that wasn't directly BOC related on the night, was Avec Laudenum

Would be AMAZING to have you good people over. Mr Disavowed always welcome in Dorset too, as he well knows.

Good. I'll admit that I bought it more to have it than to listen to it (I already had a copy of the original CD). But I think I pretty much like anything that says Stars of the Lid on it.

As I'm too broke to even think about travelling overseas, I propose a U.S Meetup. And by meetup, I mean you guys can come to my apartment and drink beer and listen to drone music.

"Beer Drones 2014: It'll Be a Little Fun"

or, better yet "In a Beautiful Place, Stateside"

So we need a video linkup between the two events and for one of us to 'be' Phil Collins and attend both, preferably via a supersonic now-defunct but ahead of it's time jetliner.

I've gone too far haven't I?

Wasn't this thread about SOTL at one point too??
