To 88Marquis: I love the beat and harmonies. Very surreal but not abstract...I like it.

I'm working on this baby: http://soundcloud.com/paracat/beautiful ... -the-world

Its going to include vocals, but I still have to figure that out.

Moving further in the direction of using natural sounds as melodic/percussive spines to a track (in this case, a loon for the melody, and woodpeckers for the percussion).

Definitely disappointed that I couldn't listen any further, what are you planning to do for percussion (if you are) ? I'd for sure want to hear the rest!

How do you go about recording?

Thanks, here's a polished up version. I certainly want to continue it and add some kind of percussion. The hihats in this version are mainly to prevent it from being extremely floaty.

most recent version. Now I'm gonna let it rest for a few days.

Still not perfect, but I'm proud of it.

Beautiful work Guido, I'm quite jealous of your ability to create beautiful melodies that drift in and out of my reality..

Makes me wish I had someone else to work with - I can lay down percussion better than I have ever have before Its just difficult for me to lay down melodies and turn (whats in my head) into real sound.

I've still got a lot of work to do on it. But this is the style it's gonna be in.

Haha, no way man! What did you think? I'm just hoping it doesn't stray from the sound I came to twoism with, although if it does I'm cool with that too - I had a fantastic time doing!
