Well.. my iPod died.. it's my second iDeath in the last couple of years. Good thing I had my Zune as back up!

However, there's no last.fm plug-in for the Zune software yet. I miss the tracking in last.fm :(

Anyway, currently listening to "Dropsonde" by "Biosphere" and it's just an incredibly lovely piece of work. Highly recommended. Kinda jazzy, great minimal melodies, not quite as noisy/droney as others from him.

I've been on a huge Tim Hecker and Biosphere kick lately. Not sure why, but staring out my window at the cold, wet grey Texan sky and streets might have something to do with it.

Ha, it's not here. We're finally getting all that long overdue snow up in Pittsburgh. I can't complain cause half of December was in the 50's & 60's. Anyway I'm busting out some Mum "Finally We Are No One" for another listen. It's been a while...

Me too! My bus to college crashed halfway there and I had to walk about 5 miles uphill through the countryside, in a blizzard. Finally we are no-one was in my ears and I really enoyed it, in an "omg this is horrible" sort of way.

deftones- my own summer. listen very closely with headphones at 1:32 on the downbeat... you can hear *clink* of 2 beer bottles hitting each other. very subtle. I discovered this 5 years ago while laying in bed with headphones on listening to it. deftones are genius

That's an awesome track, it always puts me in a good mood. :D That whole Early Works album is really really good! There was rumors of an Early Works Vol. 2 but I haven't heard anything about it lately.

Same here, there's some tracks on LIFOP that I skip but I usually always listen to Early Works and Something Always Goes Wrong all the way through.

Sleepy Town Manufacture, if you've never heard these guys there are a bunch of free releases from Monotonik. "For You" and "For Me" double album is excellent. Dark atmospheric idm just how I like it. Hey, it's free so give it a shot! :P
