Here is what I've been listening to recently:

FKA Twigs - EP2 (I keep coming back to this EP and i just can't get enough of it)
St. Vincent - Strange Mercy
Sufjan Stevens - Illinoise
Bjork - Vulnicura
Goldfrapp - Seventh Tree (this basically has been the soundtrack to my summer for a couple of years)

I've found that recently I'm either getting into completely new music, or i'm re-listening to old albums that I love

Brilliant soundtrack to a brilliant show. I will miss it terribly.

The music in 'Humans' on Channel 4 stood out for me straight away - really good. Apparently by the same bloke.

Yeah, he just posted some of it on Soundcloud. I'm going to try to wait and watch the show itself before listening though, so as not to reduce the impact.

God, Utopia. I remember being introduced to it by my actor mate (the writer is a famous playwright) back when it first aired. I can only remember feeling that it had an unnecessary amount of violence for what it was about, and also generally a bit disgusted by the premise (which I get is the whole point). It is sad that much of what is one TV these days sucks, and the shows that actually aim higher tend to have shock factor for the sake of it.

I know you can make the argument that it has interesting ideas, but they are nothing groundbreaking. It is classic conspiracy end of the world fare with throat cutting and eyeball spooning.

Maybe I am being a bit harsh, but it's done far worse to it's characters anyway hah.

Love me a bit of Mountains, recently got Choral on vinyl, great music.

Heh. I put Sand on from Centralia yesterday for my drunk mate and it lulled him into a stupor. I couldn't even wake him up afterwards, I just headed home. They should slap a warning label on that track!

Letherette - Gas Stations and Restaurants

https://m.soundcloud.com/letherette/gas ... estaurants

I think alot of twoismers would dig this track and this band. Sample heavy and very diverse. The song is from the self titled 'letherette' album from 2013 and is seriously good.

Maximum volume yields maximum results:)

Also check out boosted and hard martha, 2 other "holy fuck really how have i not heard this" tracks from the same album. Well actually the whole album is "wha? I missed this somehow?".

Trying out some new music, trying to break the habit of listening to the same artists over and over a little.
