I felt it a sin to put in too many albums released in the past 10 years, but even I couldn't deny the ones I put on there.

I haven't been able to compile a definitive favorites list for some time now. This list includes some of my favorite albums from a wide variety of styles and genres (it's also one album per artist). It get's updated couple times a year whenever I feel like a sufficient change in it has happened. It's not exactly a favorites list but merely a selection, but I think it's close enough to fit the purpose.
