Did a search for him and I can't believe he's only mentioned once on here. OK, he hasn't produced a huge amount of stuff, but I can't thing of many other writers/directors whose work I've consistently loved so much.
Annihilation and Sunshine are two of my favourite sci-fi films, 28 Days Later one of my favourite films ever, Ex Machina is superb.
Most folk around my age probably know him best as the writer of 'The Beach' - cracking book, 'Coma' is even better.
The man's a legend!

Two and a bit years later, I still maintain that everything this dude is involved with is top notch. Very much looking forward to 'Men', apparently out in the next few weeks.

I highly recommend his series ''Devs'' as well, it's great.
