Plaid 'Rakimou'. In the middle of making a not-too-harsh Plaid compilation to play in the shop next week, and when this track comes on I'll have to put down whatever I'm doing and listen to it properly.

Reflections and Shadows, by Susumu Yokota and Rothko. I've just finished redoing a bit on a track of mine called Square One and I need something to wind down.

Not a very good day, today.

'Eyen' by Plaid... Great track!

Track 1 off of their 2001 LP 'Double Figure'... I'm just getting into Plaid; they've definately done some excellent work.

Massive Attack. That's all, just Massive Attack. I just saw them live and now I don't know what to do with myself. If any of you have the chance to see them, jump on it. Best show ever.

Hearing 'Eyen' is what got me into Plaid. 'Double Figure' is one of my favourite electronic albums. 'Rest Proof Clockwork' and 'Not for Threes' have some amazing stuff on them as well.

This morning I can't get Ciaran Byrne's 'Goodbye John Goodbye' out of my head. :)

I remember teaching myself that song on guitar. Great song.

Anyway, just then I was listening to Rockets Fall On Rocket Falls by GYBE. I love that album, Yanqui U.X.O.!

'To Here Knows When' by My Bloody Valentine...

What gorgeous work... They manage to make guitars sound alien. Nobody does melodies like these guys, not even BoC. Not better, but different from BoC melodies...

When I'm in the mood for MBV, there truly is no sustitute...

The video for it is pretty good too.:D

Right now I'm listening to the old Pingu theme tune. Over and over again. Because it's so great.
