How do they afford it? Saw a girl who's really nice, celebrating her 17th out. GOD DAMN The UK drinking culture depresses me so.
I have half the mind to tell the barman on the bastards, it kind of feels like they're invading your space a little bit... even though I don't go out too often. Still feels like that. and then Facebook is designed in a way that makes you feel you're missing out. FUCK i'm pissed off at this mindset our generation have twisted their psyches into. Anyone know what I mean?
(and Bleak if you read this it's kiddies in Rummers)
i can completely relate to your feelings emyr. i had very similar thoughts when lisa began drinking on the weekends into the early hours of the morning, with the increase of people using facebook at the time i noticed a huge change in her personality and many of her friends. the thing is i used to look so deeply into the whole scenario that i caused myself harm in the long term. nowadays i just see it as a persons exploration through life, i don't agree with it at all - but at the end of the day as long as they are content with what they are doing. personally speaking, i find sitting in a pub incredibly depressing. i’d much rather wonder around the woods on my lonesome, breathing in the unsullied air, capturing the first glimpse of the morning sun rise from the smallest slit in the atmosphere until the black sky is painted with breathtaking images. as long as you're happy that's all that matters right?
