If you got off your soapbox you'd see that there is no reason to talk down to us. I'm going to guess that you're around 18-20 years old. At the stage of awareness where you've seen that there is biased information out there but haven't realized that the sources that made you aware of it are biased themselves. Your arguments are long-standing retreads and illustrate how facts are often cherry picked to fit pre-formed ideological perceptions.

Here's to you figuring that out one day, but in the meantime take your theories to 'The Playground' or better yet some political site far away.

They probably have loads of unreleased dancy tunes similar to this one: Nlogax

btw, I think Nathan Fake is probably my favorite artist who combines the BoC/Warp influences with dance music: Outhouse.

Nlogax is actually one of the tunes I had in mind when typing that response. Also, the HI remix to Trapped is definitely danceable.

there are no guarantees that there will even be a new album.

and if there is a new album.

it doesn't have to neccesarily be electronic music.

My idea of dancing is pretty much moshing, BOC being one of a few exceptions to the noise I usually enjoy ;)

My idea of dancing is pretty much moshing,

Someone doesn't know how to dance

Don't worry, neither do I

Dancing is not that hard. Go to an drum & bass or psytrance gig and you can do what you want on the dancefloor and its ok. Let yourself go and have fun 8)

I thought I read in an interview that even though they have made a fair amount of non-electronic music, they would not release it under the Boards of Canada name because they want BoC to just be the psychedelic electronica stuff.

Hasn't MDG been saying there is definitely a new record in the works for... what, the last two years? Get a clue.

Yeah, I did forget about that. Now, anyone that says there's no guarantee of a new album can suck a dick.

Man, I'd forgotten all about MySpace. Now showing: Location Hexagon Sun, Nova Scotia, Ca. At least it's stopped posting those daft Hebrew and Arabic status updates.
