A year ago or something like that I downloaded Ulrich Schnauss' Far away trains passing by, and liked it but forgot about it. Just rediscovering this right now, and it sounds really good. Can't understand I didn't liked it this much at that time, because this is typically the music I like.

I listened most of those with my girlfriend from Bretagne whom I loved dearly.. We both loved Gainsbourg and found his chain smoking extremely amusing. Such good times. Here's one for you: a Paris-born chansonnier who moved to the Nethelands in his childhood, made good music and drank wine like a true clochard: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5cntzEZo1w .

Great link man, I love this musical period and genre, with instrumental, bass, drums and guitar.

Tryshasla - Secede

Definitely one of my favourite albums of all time. I'd do anything to own this CD... been searching around and I was willing to pay 80 bucks for it but then I realized the bid was over :/ same thing with the one on sale at Discogs, was being sold for about 110 USD but that was also already sold :C

"Eight Eighteen Ten" by FaltyDL. The more I listen to You Stand Uncertain the more I am strangely reminded of Wagon Christ. I think there is a definite WC influence on *parts* of this album. It's really good.

Stewart Copeland is probably my favorite video game music composer.
