Can't agree with you there. Trans Canada was just a few leftovers from Campfire Headphase that were released roughly six months later. Grade A leftovers to be sure, but it was barely even 12 minutes of new material. Just two tracks and two interludes. Calling it an EP is a stretch in my book - any shorter and it would have been a glorified Dayvan Cowboy 'single' release with B sides.

The tracks on Trans Canada Highway sound a lot different than those on The ampfire Headphase.

I kinda zone out and all of the sudden I realize Ive been staring at it for 10-15 minutes. Sometimes I dont even remember going to the website. I fantasize about what its going in its place. I always hope that this is the last night I have to look at the box, and that in the morning I wake up, and its the best day of my life because there's the new album

i think this album will be very much like Geogaddi in that it will be darker, but I think the difference is how they are viewing their approach...back then you had 9/11, they said they were glued to the tv, and it influenced the album, and now they have the Japan Tsunami/Earthquakes happening, which is similar in terms of world event catastrophies
my basic assumption Geogaddi is to 9/11 as the new album is to Earthquake catastrophies
not to affend anyone affected by either disaster, but i think it's very assumable they will be fitting the recent Japan news into the picture of their new release
