Stephanie says....
A clearance in a wooded area, you startle a deer, it runs into the pines. Vast turquoise lakes and icy rivers, crisp mountain air. A bald eagle soars above. The distant sound of a chainsaw. Redwood smoke

Not sure if someone else already posted this, but I just stumbled upon the photograph that is used for the banner on their Warp page, thought I'd share it.

Nice find. I don't see why they stretched the hell out of that image for the banner, though.

It's a very popular image. It was used in the Worms Armageddon title screen

We'll get tunes when we do. No need to rush. Just let the brothers work their magic  They'll blow our minds when they're ready.

Mmmhmm. Just lay back and chill bro. I know it's taking ages but there's no sense in being antsy.

Yup. That's where we're at. It'll stay that way until the new album comes out in 2012.

I wouldn't be surprised if they had an album ready to go but for reasons unknown to us, they had to scrap it and start anew.

Oh people, people, people... in 2012 we'll be saying "It probably won't be out until 2013" and so on and so forth.
Black Box with no more info yet is starting to make me think that the black box could very well mean NOTHING.

A lot of updates are probably made by people close to the band who work with them, to give the fans something to talk about. BoC are probably don't like the idea of being parents, while being famous musicians. Maybe they don't want that life for their kids. Can't say I blame them.

Trying to get your kid to do better with their grades while doing drugs and trying to find some good samples about paganism for this track you've been working on don't usually happen simultaneously in someone's life.

Well, did you think perhaps that looking for the right sample is all in a day's work. Work that feeds their families?
Any responsible parent has a job and spends time away from their family to work during the day. In their case, they make music for a living.
I know people who have much tougher careers and can find time to help their kids' grades. It's all part of the job.

The mistery-album, the boc-record that was never there was released in march 2011. It took fans four more years to understand that it was a major icon in the nihilistic art-period. An art movement that was only noticed by criticist long after the artists moved on to a new era.
In 2014 6000 ppl attended the ATP-festival that wasn't there. This event was showing that nihilism no longer was underground and so the artmovement that was never there was abondend by the artists who feared everything mainstream.

The nihilism was preceded by a short period known as the prospectiv art dealing with projects that had to come. Most of these projects finaly were finished halfway the nihilistic period.

To break with art-traditions boards of canada released a record early 2016 as a statement against imobilism. That release passed unnoticed as people were no longer listening to records since the invention of instant moodmusicmachines better known as tripleM which produce random musical artefacts based on the overall atmosphere in certain area

I hardly think their occupation is making music. They don't tour, so right there is a huge loss in potential income. They don't release albums every year. I would say the most steady income from their music would be from iTunes and come on, everyone knows you don't make jack on iTunes.

So you would think they have other Jobs.
