Most amazing drop I've ever heard. This song is still so stunning, goosebumps every time I hear it, especially at 2.30. The build up, and then this climax. Argh, it's amazing.

So true.

Regarding 'Merriweather', I came for 'My Girls' but I stayed for 'In The Flowers' (and a bunch of the other tracks. I forget how good that album actually is sometimes).

One of the best albums in years. It reminds me of a cross between Pet Sounds and Loveless.

Never quite understood the fuss about this album. I played it many times and for me My Girls and Summertime Clothes are outstanding, the rest? I just don't really click with.

The fact that I keep playing it though gives me the sneaky suspiscion that I just need to access the right porthole in my brain. If you get my drift.

Love that album a lot. In The Flowers was the first AC song I'd heard ever, sucked me into Merriweather immediately. Not fond of a few songs on it, generally I skip them, but they're still good. And aside from those two or three songs the rest are stunning. Brothersport is such an awesome climax.

I also heard Ultramarin by Jetone (Tim Hecker) for the first time. Amazing minimal techno with that decaying Tim Hecker sound... love it a LOT.

There are so many choices using this media player and so so many legal instances of music. I feel like a king in some kind of futuristic fancy-land.

*deletes Velvet Underground*

I really love In the flowers but I haven't even listened to the entire album. I think I put it off after the first three songs. I just don't click with it, however In the flowers is stunning.

Having a Blur binge tonight, 13 and Think Tank are masterpieces.

Lose my Breath by My Bloody Valentine is hauntingly brilliant. The song is so creepy, the way it pulses along with all that dischord then the relief in the chorus. Brilliant song, never ceases to amaze me.

Disintegration Loops 3 - William Basinski

My favourite track by him, the loop is beautiful and doesn't get old, like a Gas song, and by the end of the 45 minute track it's so decayed and ready to die, it's like I'm watching something actually fall into the state of being dead, struggling to remain alive. The way it decays, you hear all the subtleties... it's beautiful.
