I was just listening to my own tune while the news specials on tv showed the misery of ten years ago and I felt it fit together so I made this.
hexagonLife wrote:Guido - that's a nice track, I think that video is getting harder to watch.
Polar Sky - Really cool stuff as well, I like those pads - they sound like the ones in Psycle, are they??
This is something I just finished tonight

Been working on electronic tracks for a couple of years. They usually just end up nowhere in the darkest depths of cyberspace. Thought I'd just dump it here and share it with yuhz. Also, some feedback would be nice. The link above consists of 6 tracks with a runtime of approx. 21 minutes.
Kinda picked up on EQing and messing around with effects, ran out of ideas, got some, lost some, gave up, got back it again. I am using digital softwarebut meh it's been fun thus far.

pro itp - use streaming sites like soundcloud or bandcamp. downloading zips by unknown artists is not the latest trend, sadly.

People are apparently too paranoid about viruses and disk space to download usually <100MB of MP3's. It's pretty sad.
I've found though that if you use Soundcloud, put a couple tracks to preview and link them before the link to your full release, more people will download your zip/rar file.

To be honest, these days I don't listen to a lot of IDM. Not that I don't like the genre anymore, but I guess I'm not in the mood.
That being said, there are some elements of your track I really like, both on the sound design side and on the structure side.
I loooove that kinda metallic pad you've got going on. As an aspiring producer, I'm always on the "hearout" for interesting rhythms that could inspire me and help improve my own, and I found your track to be interesting for that.

why is it sad? with the amounts of music out there it's pretty amazing people still listen to anything they don't know from blogs and magazines.

i mean, i am sorry, but it's true!
