america under attack

I was just listening to my own tune while the news specials on tv showed the misery of ten years ago and I felt it fit together so I made this.
Borné dans sa nature, infini dans ses vœux, l'homme est un dieu tombé qui se souvient des cieux.

Very nice track... Very sad to watch, song really captures the feeling.

Made another small song today. I really like the movie Christine. I made a song called Christine a while ago and this one goes along with it. It's my own interpretation of the feeling of the car. Its not a cover song or anything, just something I hear in my head when I watch the movie, so I had to record it.

Guido - that's a nice track, I think that video is getting harder to watch.

Polar Sky - Really cool stuff as well, I like those pads - they sound like the ones in Psycle, are they??

This is something I just finished tonight

Thanks! But no I made em myself using my Korg DW8000 analog hybrid synthesizer and a mellotron program for the flute lead. What is Psycle? A program? Or a patch? Nice percussion sounds in your song!

Thanks! I have some stuff on the OOT comps too that's more upbeat. Yeah, I record all of my stuff to Logic Studio and go from there I use Reason 3.0 for percussion and beats. My Roland Juno 60 took a crap and wouldn't save patches anymore so I sold it for $500.00 on Craig's List to a guy from Virginia who came to Ohio for it. It needed a new battery I am guessing but I could not find anyone who would solder a new one on the board for me who was confident in not frying the board so I sold it... :( So I am looking for another one. But I have my lovely KORG DW8000 and that thing is a fucking beast. It's so warm and thick sounding. Great for leads too. I might buy this JUNO 106 for $600 at a local music shop here in Cincinnati.

I'll check out that Psycle program. Is it available for Mac?

I didn't want to say this before but I've actually already downloaded all the d/l'able tracks on your SC. It's all really cool man - are you planning any kind of EP or LP in the near future? Your set-up sounds flashy but it definitely pays off, it seems like you know what you're doing.

Native Psycle isn't out for mac I'm afraid - there's QPsycle, that's a Linux/Mac OS port that's in development just now but you'd have to build it yourself and I'm afraid I know sweet shit all about that :(

Greetings, first off gonna keep the introduction short. I just signed up to the forum a couple of days back. Been prowling around and about prior to getting an account. Big fan of BoC

Been working on electronic tracks for a couple of years. They usually just end up nowhere in the darkest depths of cyberspace. Thought I'd just dump it here and share it with yuhz. Also, some feedback would be nice. The link above consists of 6 tracks with a runtime of approx. 21 minutes.

Kinda picked up on EQing and messing around with effects, ran out of ideas, got some, lost some, gave up, got back it again. I am using digital software :? but meh it's been fun thus far.

pro itp - use streaming sites like soundcloud or bandcamp. downloading zips by unknown artists is not the latest trend, sadly.

People are apparently too paranoid about viruses and disk space to download usually <100MB of MP3's. It's pretty sad.

I've found though that if you use Soundcloud, put a couple tracks to preview and link them before the link to your full release, more people will download your zip/rar file.
Okay...now...wait for fog machine.

To be honest, these days I don't listen to a lot of IDM. Not that I don't like the genre anymore, but I guess I'm not in the mood.
That being said, there are some elements of your track I really like, both on the sound design side and on the structure side.
I loooove that kinda metallic pad you've got going on. As an aspiring producer, I'm always on the "hearout" for interesting rhythms that could inspire me and help improve my own, and I found your track to be interesting for that.
Please refer to my soundcloud page to listen to my music.

why is it sad? with the amounts of music out there it's pretty amazing people still listen to anything they don't know from blogs and magazines.

Thanks man.

Do you still listen to Boards? Would you say that they're an IDM duo like they're usually classified?
Okay...now...wait for fog machine.

It's sad because there are good people trying to make music for others and people are paranoid about it. There's a lot of independent music. More the reason to download and listen to as much as you can.

it's 50/50. it can be shit, it can be great. i doubt it's about viruses. it's more about being lazy. it's not that there are that many gems hidden on random internet forums, really.

i mean, i am sorry, but it's true!
