With the random tweets and Myspace updates, I think it's safe to say 2012 is our year. Afterall, it's fitting: the world is supposed to end that year and if the boys don't finish the album it all just leads to one big conspiracy theory about it anyway.

Maybe that black box IS representing 2001: A Space Odyssey afterall.

What if there's a February 2012 release?

Would be a nice 10 year anniversary celebration of Geogaddi.
Okay...now...wait for fog machine.

Damn almost a decade went by since Geogaddi. Time surely flies!

Since they wrote 90+ tracks during Geogaddi and only chose 23 (24 on the Japanese release) out of the 90+ tracks, it would be awesome if they released another 23 or more unreleased Geogaddi era tracks for a 10 year Geogaddi Anniversary album. Or they could make it a bonus disc. Can you imagine if they re-released Geogaddi with a 23 song bonus disc, the vinyl would be 8 records thick!

But then again, there was no 10 year anniversary for MHTRTC so...

They also said they work months on a single hi-hat sound. I don't really see how they have the time to do 90+ tracks....unless they actually have a time-machine.

Honestly I think that's just BS on the level of Richard James interview BS.

They might have 90 tracks. But I doubt they can all be complete. I'm sure some of them are basic ideas that had potential but never got developed further. Like an interesting melody that never made it into a full track.

I dunno... I reckon they'd be complete to the standard of most other artists but not given the full BoC anti-production treatment.

Yeah, depends on what you consider a track, really. I consider every little project I've started to be a potential track. Therefore, I've written HUNDREDS of tracks.

What the fuck does this quote mean?

How is the planned full length Super-8 movie with soundtrack coming along?
"That film will start shooting in summer."
