Almost done with this whole album.

Dude! You've been making some really good stuff. Keep us posted about the album. btw, was that just you and some friends talking in the song, or was that from something?
The second half could be released as an Aphex Twin song. not even joking. It's awesome!

Well thank you very much! I certainly will keep everyone posted.

And yes, that was me and my cousin (often music contributor in my tracks).

Really eccentric, sort of difficult to follow.

Which in the case of electronic experimentation is a good thing. You're making tracks which people have to dissect in their minds quite heavily which tells me you're doing it right. Keep it up, it would be really interesting to hear some completely original tracks in this style.

Well I spent the majority of my day learning to use Ableton Live. Watched a whole bunch of tutorials on the basics to the hidden little things. Still going through more tutorials though, before I finish the track I'm working on. I'm really looking forwards to getting my Akai APC40 in the mail.

The track I'm working on, in Ableton, is starting out pretty cool. I might save it for a OoT submission, so I can't post anything on it yet. The next time you hear it will probably be after OoTv5 is released, whether it be on the album or released on soundcloud once I find out it hasn't made the cut. I'm really liking it so far.

I think I'll be back into making some tunes again now. It's been a while since I sat down with some quality ideas and put them to the test. So I'm sure I'll be posting here again sometime soon with results.

A tribute, of sorts, to Bobby Fischer:

Hell yeah dude! Trust me, the headaches will pay off. I've just started to dive deeper into Fruity Loops finally and its definitely frustrating when you know what you want to do with something but just can't find a good way to express it. In good time though.

I'm interested in hearing what you come up with - I've always liked your tunes man.

I'm almost scared of what I might produce in the next couple months. I took a big hiatus a couple months before leaving for infantry school and I just got back this month. We'll see!

Seeing a lot of new names here too which is awesome - got a lot of listening to do thats for sure.

Dude! Good to hear from you again. Ableton is turning out to be amazing. I think I'm getting the hang of it.

btw, I still have 1992 In An Igloo on my mp3 player. I listen to it often. It's really quite a masterpiece.

Cheers. 8)

I recorded this with my lil' sister today. Its a cover (ok, so its far more then that) by a song made by my cousin Laura Arkana (who made an album with Peter Broderick).

We only recorded the first part with vocals. There's still allot of work, but I like it already.

My sister actually believes she can't sing and even though I autotuned it SLIGHTLY, I think she has an amazing voice.

I finished Log 2 in my Memory Log songs. There will be more to come in the future. This is my first Ableton Live song too. This one was greatly inspired by Aphex Twin's SAWII album.
