What is the point of lists and 'now playing' threads and that sort of thing?
I mean, even if you're a fairly decent reviewer or something, a list without an explanation of WHY something makes/is omitted in a list seems like an exercise in futility. You aren't changing anyone's mind, etc.

And now playing threads- there's no discussion about it. It's just a billion people posting youtube clips.

I do this all the time. I post a link to something in the thread at the same time its playing. Usually a youtube link. Is there a better course? I'm up for an experimental thread. Now Playing. Could be anything?
