Odd Nosdam - Untitled 3

For some reason I've never checked out much of Odd Nosdam - listening to this, I have no idea why, it may as well have been written with me in mind:

Nice hip hop drums
Fluff-on-the-needle style noise
Woozy MBV ambience
Girl singing about "sunlight in my eyes" and "miles of daisy chains"

Perfect.

Atlas Sound - The Light That Failed

I've just started listening to this band and I'm digging it heavily. Recommended if you have any preference towards indie rock (however vague that is).

The Black Angels - "Directions To See A Ghost"

up there with Geogaddi in my favourite album of all time debates...

not a fan of their latest, though it is good, but this album just blows me away... echoes of the doors, joy division, elevators, jefferson airplane, but still quite unique... so so so psychedelic and excellent. Masters of the drone... just one of those albums that feels like they got inside my mind and made exactly what i wanted to hear.

this track in particular... lol, I just remember I was lying on the floor, tripping ludicrously hard... had never heard them before... and this came on and just pinned me to the floor with the entire force of the universe

I had seen this name on Last.fm alot but never had the time to actually check it out.
I'm so glad I did, this album is amazing, especially the song below.

Boards of Canada - Audiotrack 5A

I have never listened to all these Audiotracks, or well, just the incidental ones on youtube.
Must say there really are some gems in there!
