Oh, good to see this thread make an appearance again.

Despite the crappy "summer" and my shitty job driving me nuts, I'm in a good place right now....

Baby boy is coming on leaps and bounds, my business is picking up, I've just eaten steak pie & chips and other personal situation is......in a good situation.

Yes.

Getting hopped up on sadness from depressing music for no reason at all while you're all alone.

Cool summer nights, driving home full speed down abandoned country roads from a great night out. Windows down, music up, nothing but you, your car, and the highway.

Having a good sort through and finding some great pictures and other cool things you'd forgotten about, and the subsequent clutter free result of your clean up.

You guys know what I like? Going way hard, blazing wicked deep at a party, pulling an all nighter and meeting loads of people, then returning to your nice comfy bed and just going over it in your head and letting your experiences sink in. Great moment right there.

I've just re-read this entire thread. What an absolute bloody joy.

Unexpected nice things (just scored a pair of free tickets to see Mark Thomas at the Fringe Festival from a friend I haven't spoken to in years!)

Surprising others with nice things (the book went down well).

When things work out well.

When the British summer does actually give us a week of gorgeous weather and actually makes our crowded little island look quite pretty.
