Just picked up the Mirrorring album on vinyl... and I'm out of town, far away from my turntable. The MP3's will suffice for the time being.

Currently enjoying a Nirvana rehearsal from late 1988:

I have the WTLO DVD, but have never watched this rehearsal in full. I wish I'd bothered earlier...

This is a completely different style to the things that most here seem to listen to, but I'll post it anyway (assuming that there is one other fan of 90s and early-2000's emo/screamo here!)

What are the chances that I open this thread while listening to Sunshine Recorder and see someone with the handle sunshine recorder post not long ago?

What a great and often overlooked track. 4:49 to the end is especially great.
Okay...now...wait for fog machine.

Little known psychedelic band from years ago, basically forgotten about. For some reason this label released their small collection of tunes on vinyl.

A chance purchase brought me to them. They are awesome!

Fujee - YouTube currently being a pain on the arse on my phone, but I'll definitely check out - the words little known & psychedelic from 1969 will always grab my attention.

Now Playing - Patti Smith: Dancing Barefoot.

I love this tune. I even like U2's cover...

Primal Scream - Carry Me Home

I can't think of a song that sounds so broken and tired - it's like it's barely able to make it to the end without collapsing - it all just falls apart at the end like they can't physically play any more. Beautiful stuff.

A hypnotic tune with fringe frequency beats and muffled reverberated saxophone. How can it not be good!? :)
