It's been confirmed a bunch of times that they are indeed working on some new album. The question now is when will it get released.

Speaking for myself, my doubts stem from the fatigue of 'release is imminent' teases stretching back nearly six years. At this point I'll believe it when I see it. Read the Statements from Hexagon Sun on the boc pages but here is the earliest example -

Maybe theyve been remastering all of those old and never heard of tunes. Its possibly a possibility

Oh lord. The rumor mills would explode, killing 3 and seriously injuring 10 others.

Well of course, its easy to choose over the new material over old, however, what about those never before heard or even talked about tunes were missing out on? Thatd be worth the time.

As much as I'd be interested to hear remastered old music, I'm content to hear what's new when it surfaces. I was reading that there were many, many tunes left offof Geogaddi just because they didn't fit in with the rest of the album and I'm resigned to the fact that chances are none of us are ever going to hear them. In a way it's nice that a band can curate carefully everything that appears to the public.

I just hope, above all else, they're still enjoying making music, wherever they are.

well you know and i had completely forgotten about but Diadhaidh just reminded me on this page, apparently there was '90' or so tracks for Geogaddi and they chose the most fitting. The remainder of which i would most certainly like to hear, though they may not all have been finished tracks. perhaps some of those were finished off and moved into TCH. So where the rest? C'mon now BOC hand them over

Christ you're doing my head in....

The wait is tough enough without you flapping about every second post about something or other.

this is a thread for members to speculate, is there a rule on limited posts?
perhaps you could make that rule, otherwise try not to let other members posts do your head in.

The decision to check this thread that much is your own, so don't blame someone else.

We all want this release to come out, and the waiting is rather intensified by discussing it so often. It'll happen, then there'll be other things to pine about :D

I'm Assuming that there's a new release, and that something happened in '10 that prevented it from being released. Will the new album hold the same veracity that it may have had back in '10? I know there's much supposition here, but I can't help but think that something may have been lost in the years that have gone by... I hope not.

I don't believe I'm aware of what happened in 2010? Was something scheduled?
