I managed to predict that radio would be the next medium. Next, I'm gonna say print. The final code, television.

I have had a deep and inexplicable nostalgia for 1977 for years - something about the music that year (Mr Blue Sky), the summer, the Queens jubilee street parties. This just got personal

Amen to that dj. Good to hear from you again. Top times indeed!!! Don't know if I'd have the energy to do that again. Took me a few days to get over it

As a relatively new fan of BoC, this'll be one of those things that'll be talked of among BoC fans for years to come and indeed I think we'll be telling new BoC fans all about it in the run up to future released. We were there folks, we were there. :D

I feel a little like that about goin on a wild goose chase to the abandoned observatory in the Pentland Hills looking for a red moon in 2006. Was a great crack and met some top folk but the code cracking was insane in the buildup to the date.

my final theory, the numbers themselves are meaningless but are useful
and its this

www.boardsofcanada.com/- - - - - -/- - - - - -/717228/936557/- - - - - -/519225

a hidden area of their site where all will be finally revealed.

Lol - exactly how I felt after a day at work today :D

Decent timeline / summary here.

BOCPages is popping out key updates as usual too.

As to WARP confirming, the best I've seen so far is the taped phone call from the first record store (ie. the New York store) saying that WARP hand delivered it at 3pm on Record Store Day. There's an mp3 of that floating around on here somewhere.

Also, the BBC Radio 1 clip tonight is listed on the BBC iPlayer as 'UNKNOWN. WARP' and the BBC don't tend to mess around.

It's on. Like Donkey Kong.

I really love that opening chiming synth sound before the numbers are read out, such a good calling card. Reminds me a little bit of euro vision except, its BoC calling and not London or some other European captial 8)

I would imagine it probably isn't that because it would be a work of a few mins to write a script to try all the prime numbers for those URLs in advance

I would watch out for BoC's website too, as that's definitely a slight possibility for where they could go next with the code. Or maybe it'll be increasing hard to follow...

Also ima check on that seemingly fake video periodically and see if anything comes of it, for now I think it's just bullshit.

Yeah you could just download a list of 6 digit primes from somewhere like here:

http://www.primos.mat.br/indexen.html

Then brute force each combination in all 6 slots in a script with wget.

Oh crap, you're right - I hadn't noticed the last one wasn't. Even with just 6 digit numbers you could still try all combinations within a few hours however.
