I tend to believe it's 255742 now.

Any chance its 699742 and they're just giving us the spot for the NPR code?

Yes. And an equally good chance all these first posters are here to throw us off ;)

The second and third number sound very much like one syllable to me. The emphasis of the number makes me think that's it's a 5 and not a 9. The fourth number is quite clearly two syllables and could only really be a 7.

this is what i came up with too, when i listened to it without having read the interpretations of other folk on here... the sound interferes with the first number, but it sounds most like '2' to me... the 5ht number could be 4 or 0, but i think the sound is too elongated to be 0, i'd instinctively thought it was 4...

It's the NPR code.

It belongs in slot 1.

It's done.

We need slot #5 now.

ambivalenceavenue's link on the 6 number sequence thread ( https://soundcloud.com/josh-davenport/xxxxxx ) does make it sound a lot more like 699742

pardon my earlier "first poster" error ;)

yeah, without a doubt its the NPR code. Which means...we either have to wait another day for the final code or maybe something similar will happen in NYC this evening and give us the fifth and final spot :D

First number gotta be 2...where did this come from?

EDIT: For it to be the NPR#, the first number has got to be 6. Is anyone else hearing 2? Not 6?

Another long time lurker here, missed the last couple of clues cause it been out all night currently listening to a set by shy fx in a 12k rig loving bass music, but still checking this forum every 10 mins. Super excited at the moment, been following this thing since the record was posted on r/vinyl (9 hours in). Just thought I'd add my two pence and say that I'm kinda waiting for a one time pad, the fact that box have produced these number station audio files makes me think that we'll need to decifer them with the commonly accepted method of communication of number stations I.e. a one time pad.

Anyway excuse any spelling or grammatical errors, slightly drink person on an iPhone. Just a long line boc fan chipping in.

I'm going to retract my earlier statement and concede that this is most likely the NPR number. Considering the last 3 digits are undoubtedly 742, the number is far too close to be perceived as anything else. Perhaps this whole thing was set up to clear up the fact that no one knew the placement of the NPR code - it might have been that NPR were supposed to make the position clear but failed to do so, so having done their part warp were reluctant to have it re-aired or referred back to on the show or otherwise contact them about it.
