Oh don't worry, still enough time for me to get pissed at you for the quality after I listened ;)

Listening now, the first track is already blowing my mind. Fucking amazing!
I love listening to cassettes so I'm quite happy about the tape hiss as well.

Well I'm glad you like it! You might be less enamored when my mobile starting joining in later on...

That's one of my favorites on vinyl because it has sides of a decent length and you don't have to get up as as quickly to flip it over as with most ambient multiple-disc vinyl albums, from my experience. Plus, it's a good one, of course.

Anyway, the track that got me emotionally hooked on SOTL overall was "The Daughters of Quiet Minds" as I sat practically alone on a plane flying over rural Missouri. So glad there is new stuff coming.

Agreed. It's a wonderful thing to own on vinyl.
Might go and give it a spin now actually...

All I've got is Avec Laudanum on vinyl. Not that that's a valid complaint, it's a beautiful album and truly one of SoTL's best... but man, what I wouldn't give for Decline on wax...

I saw it on Amazon for 30 quid a few months back, kept on stalling to buy it, then predictably it was snapped up. Regret that.

The one I am after is Tired Sounds though, really hope Brian is true to his word about the repress this year. Id give my left nut to own that record on vinyl. I don't wanna pay discogs prices atm too, which float around 50-100 pounds.

Let's hope so! And I'd kill for Tired Sounds, too. Just got Avec a few months ago. My friend pulled it off the rack out of the blue at one of the local record shops. Paid $18 for it, sealed. Surprisingly, it was at a shop that sells punk and metal almost exclusively.

Still my favorite. I think Tim Hecker described it best: beautiful and terrifying.

Was that mean? Should I not have done that?

For what it's worth, yeah, you're right, I had to pay out the nose on Discogs to get Decline and Tired Sounds. Plus shipping to the U.S. from Europe. But at least I can quit wanting them.

You wouldn't want the bill for them mind.
My Japanese import of Ballasted was especially stupid-money.

I paid 25 for Ballasted, even that is a lot in my opinion.

I would genuinely spend 100 quid on Tired Sounds if I didn't have other financial commitments to deal with. How likely is this repress to happen? I don't wanna fork out for it come out soon.

They said it would, so I'd say pretty likely. Perhaps as a part of the new album release??
