"Rock Action" and "Ep+6" are also really good. The only album I would steer clear of is "Come On Die Young".

Very good, quiet an experience, it was in the cellar of one of our biggest museums in Belgium Antwerp, in the summer of that same year. Fridge was just before them. It was kind of strange because that cellar is very clean, not for public ever [exept that one time] and you where not allowed to smoke or drink during the gigs. The only time i went to a concert and didn't smell of cigarettes after.

A nice mellow tune after a crazy night of alcoholic debauchery.

Oh, and Mogwai is fucking awesome, I've only recently discovered them this year. I think they're way better than Godspeed, but that's just my opinion. I get bored with Godspeed as well, but Mogwai's tracks don't go on forever and ever and there is more substance to them. Disavowed; I would start with their first album "Young Team" and their newest "Mr. Beast". They have a lot of good albums but those are probably my 2 favs.

I've always said that Godspeed needed to be seen live. Their albums are good, but no where near the live show. And I know you can say that about alot of bands, but Godspeed for sure.

I really like old Mogwai too, I like the songs off Ten Rapid alot and Superheroes of Bmx rules.

I remember them playing the songs off Come on Die Young a year or so before the record came out and they too were much better live. I think its a pretty decent record though.

Wow, I love that album. Cody is probably one of my favorite Mogwai songs.

The Verve used to be just Verve, seen them live in 1993 in the Vaartkapoen in Brussels during their first and best album " A Storm In Heaven " awesome gig. :D

I haven't heard Washing Mashine for ages! It was the first Sonic Youth album I bought.

As for the earlier conversation on Mogwai - I would probably start with Ten Rapid. They haven't released a bad album though.
