@Cupz: Getting a popup in Chrome & firefox saying "Your browser does not support playing this track".

@Ian: That's a lush track man. Very nice percussion, and a nice crisp uplifting vibe from the pads 8)

Thats odd, it worked last night. well here it is on dropbox I guess... https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/9761645/kjheg.mp3

I think there might be an album coming up, I'm REALLY making tunes last couple of days.
It feels like I've learned some things from doing that geogacca thing.

Bit of a change of name for me. I got tired of the Bright Pylon alias. Too obvious a BoC/Christ. reference. In my defence, I had to come up with a name for myself when I submitted something for OoT 4 and it stuck.

This track was originally the closer on an album of stuff that I played to the Twoism crew in Dorset earlier this month. In that context I knew it didn't fit the mood of the rest of the album so it got orphaned. :)
i had no idea that you were bright pylon!! how did i miss that? i *love* an equal reaction.

looking forward to the release of your album.

I've had a microkorg for some time now and this is me making some attempt to get to know it better.

Artists! Scam Alert! (I Thought I'd get most of the relevant people in this thread.)

Watch out for an email from a Keren.Foster@sonymusicgroup.co requesting a demo (note the domain name is .co not .com although it does forward to Sony Music, and at first glance the WhoIs Domain Lookup doesn't look odd).
I received said email and it's word for word a replica of the same email received by others, and I'm told eventually leads to a request for money.

The email looks very genuine at first, is short, and says she heard your music through colleagues, and to get back to her if you are interested in submitting a demo. I might play along for a while.

^^^ Haha, I get those sometimes. There are tons of people doing scams like that. be it "virgin", "sony", pretending to be all these big guys, I've even talked to someone that had one from even an indie label. They can be quite convincing that way.

I'm glad I'm a terrible cynic when it comes to that stuff. Its funny really (no disrespect!) that some people expect companies like that to act like that, as I'm sure those scammers make allot of money doing what they do. They really have no need for you or your "silly music", especially unsolicited. Besides, getting signed to a major label takes HARD WORK, enormous dedication and frankly, a terrible work-addiction (this is why I'd settle for less) and quite a few shots of botox in the face.

Fellow musicians, dont expect mails like this unless you have made some serious impressions, really good work, did some really exciting shit that makes/could make allot of money, went completely viral, or drinking a few to many tequilas with a label representative the past few weeks that promised to do "a good word" for you (could happen I guess).

This also made me think about the plethora of coorporate "remix-contest" invitations I've had. Those are fucking annoying as well and are also SCAMS.

That's mental, obviously  I especially dig the sidechain type of groove that comes in around 0:50

Yeah. Like this. The bass is real nice. Bit of a slow funk flavour.

Probably my best fully-electronic song if I do say so myself.

You know, I'm genuinely not very familiar with this guy, but you've prompted me to check him out more. I'm sure it's a compliment, so thanks :)

Messing around with a couple of harpsichord recordings I made before I finished Uni has resulted in this. It's by no means complete. I'm not sure what direction to take the track in really.
