the more I listen to palace posy, the more I kind of start to like it
I retract my earlier statement; palace posy is OK, if not pretty good

I thought the person who considered his post that was completely in line with the thread contentious must have missed some of his more...opinionated posts in other threads, as that was nothing. At least not until the second post. He had NOT as it turns out seen those posts as he is "fairly new".
Rodheh wrote:He also said it was the most controversial opinion expressed so far...which is the point. I guess if you guys want to debate each other about your subjective opinions then you can, but the guy apparently finds x not as good as x. Leave it alone, it's just an opinion. At the same time, someone's threshold for breaking shouldn't be one post.

I've only been flamingo pudding for just a little over 4 years now and already made 15 albumsworth, some of which is pretty good (had to double check that because it sounds unbelievable...but its true). So if they only made 90, thats less then what I'm doing, and they're 200x more experienced then me in making music, I think they sound pretty solid and finished, and I would drink a gallon of garbage juice to listen to it.
I think it is very plausible, they even have time left to "spend months on a hihat sound", albeit not for every hihat sound.

Can I hear your music, Cupz. Kind of intrigued.
Controversial opinion: Boards find the whole mystique thing really funny and marvel at their own ability to drive people to the verges of sanity just through cryptic-ism. I think they have some pretty spiritual practices, don't get me wrong, but the amount of speculation created by fans shows a lot about the power of the human mind and its need to fill in information when it is denied it. People are/where on the verge of saying Hexagon sun was a cult for fucks sake.

Well you know, they haven't released these for a reason

I prefer the live version of Julie and Candy recorded off the soundboard at the ATP gig.

I literally only found out about this yesterday - I love that there is so much out there to discover. They must have so much wonderful material they've produced that we've not heard, I hope one day we get to.

thats exactly it.
the secrecy. leads to people filling in the blanks in their own mind. which always makes it way cooler and exaggerated than the actual thing.
no reason to idolize them. just appreciate their music and wish them well.
