Remember Remember's first album is great, particularly Fountain/Mountain. Wasn't particularly impressed with Errors when I saw them support Mogwai a while back, maybe need another listen.

I'm a huge fan of all their stuff, but there's something about the atmosphere of that album is so perfectly realised, it's exactly what I imagined 'folktronica' would be when I first heard it mentioned, although I'm not a fan of labels.
Summer isn't summer for me now unless it's on regular rotation.

Burial - Come Down To Us

Some of the finest music production ever. I only discovered it about 3 days ago when I heard it on Bitter Lake and I was all like "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS!" and I realise I'm about 5 years behind with the whole Burial thing but goddamn, that's one hell of a song.

Even If You're Never Awake - Stars of the Lid

Making me teary... it has to be one of the most achingly beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard.

The last couple of days I've been digging Kanding Ray - Solens Arc

This is really good. It reminds me a bit of Tomorrow's Harvest, some of the sounds used, but it's bleaker and more brutal. It sounds like huge rusted machines with oil leaking out of their slowly beating, black hearts. With sparks coming off. It's like the whole album is in monochrome, apart from the sparks.

I love Warpaint. Saw them live a couple of years ago, it was brilliant. Their rhythm section is one of my favourite going.

Also, I will marry their bassist someday.

Im a big Warpaint fan as well, have all their stuff, last album was really good.
Undertow from 1st Album is a big favourite.

Im afraid you cant marry the Bass player as she is already married to a certain Mr Chris Cunningham video Director, of many classic videos such as the fabulous Window licker by Aphex Twin :D

Damn you Cunningham! Damn you to hell!
