My 3 favourite BoC albums are R35TT, AFOT and OTV2.

Something about their spontaneousness and feel to the songs just get me (mainly Finity, A08, 5-9-78 and Buckie High)
I mean, Geogaddi is very close, but I just keep coming back to the older stuff.

Ok, we said controversial, not outright ridiculous

Basinski: I wanted Cascade to become this crystalline organism like a star or a liquid crystal spaceship, a jellyfish traveling through the galaxy…

I've genuinely always thought it's not that incredible, and this is coming from someone who loves old tunes vol 2 to death :P

Marcus could use a haircut.
If The Campfire Headphase was a butterfly, would Acid Memories be the caterpillar?

My controversial opinion is that BOC aren't two brothers but really just a collection of rats inside two large inflatable rubber man suits. This is why they don't tour, the undeniable undulation of intelligent rodents can be seen through the latex in person. There was originally more pictures and even video from the warp 10th but they were all ordered to be incinerated after Alex Jones discovered the zippers behind their beards.

That flutey bit at the end of Triangles and Rhombuses is fun to sing along to in your head. "Tri... angles... and rhombuses... those-are-the-best.... shapes"

I like Tomorrow's Harvest more than Geogaddi.

Long term BOC fan, great to be here:

I must say I agree with Amo and Noby - IABPOITC is - to these ears at least - their finest moment bar none. See our review in TNPC

Personally, Geogaddi is my favorite album of theirs, with MHTRTC at a close second. Don't get me wrong, MHTRTC is a great album, but I prefer the slightly darker feel of Geogaddi.

Understand what you mean. Campfire Headphase is warmer, Tomorrow's Harvest has really grown on me (darker again) and perhaps MHTRTC has become over-familiar?
