Christopher Lee died and that simply wasn't right. So I made this track last night.

It's 14 minutes long and quite unsettling. Queasy Listening.

french house any1?

I'm hearing it through laptop speakers right now so it'll probably be way different when I listen to that proper, but I absolutely love it. Not as a "French House" or trying to emulate any sort of style, just that main loop you've got going...as TTK described, "fangs".

Interestingly enough, French House was the first genre I ever wanted to try to make. Daft Punk, Kavinsky and early Justice was what influenced me enough that I actually tried to create music for the first time, about 10 years ago.
Okay...now...wait for fog machine.

The most recent thing I've worked on would be this...
improvised takes overlaid atop an improvised foundation, played on an old 80's keyboard.
I decided to dub it "Moondew". Image

Finally made a SoundCloud for myself. Only two songs so far, but I'll be posting stuff every so often.

I've had a bunch of songs on the backburner for a little over a year and my birthday was recently, so I treated myself to a decent USB microphone. I feel better about GarageBand recording and mastering with it. Crystal clear.

Let me know what you guys think.

This was written on guitar but turned into a layered electronic feast. It was a lot of fun to make. The bass break was actually the hardest thing to program properly. I thought it would be super easy, and that the part that follows would be hard. It wasn't.

The lead at the end was a mistake - I clicked on the wrong instrument and loved what happened. I love it when that occurs! Mistakes are the best. Might just be me, but it reminds me of the end of Slowdive's Catch the Breeze.

I really enjoyed that. I don't think I would have called it dark had a not known the background. Calm, downtempo would actually be the description I'd use, at the risk of sounding like a Tycho listener haha. I didn't find it nauseous either.

Discovery is a classic. I don't even like anything approaching techno or house usually, but that is a classic. HBFS is just such an earworm of a track, the percussion is phenomenal!

Nice to see someone else from Houston on here. Your track is reminiscent of Steve Reich, IMO. Quality stuff.

Thanks, dude!

I think I have a decent voice, but I don't like to write lyrics (even though writing poetry is my primary focus :? )

I do some "Ahh"-ing at the end of DMF 2570, the first song posted on there.

Damn Lazerize that's a fantastic piece. Had to start following. Lots of good stuff there. Your atmospheric melodies are great.

Yeah, Lazerize, this is excellent.
I love the subtleties.
I've listened to it three or four times now and the ending is incredibly rewarding.

Hello all. It's been a while since I've checked in at Twosim and thought I'd share something that I uploaded recently. I came across some stuff I did circa 2009 on 4-track cassette and am in the process of cleaning it up/uploading to Soundcloud. This track was (obviously) done with BOC in mind. Apologies if it sounds a bit too BOC-esque, but I was really missing them at the time! Anyway:
