I like the sound of it, its like AFOT and SAW having a baby.
I was hoping the beat would start "properly" halfway through, with a sharper kick and a defining snare. Pmmm Pshhh.
I like the breathy bass thing that kicks in but its a bit of a shame it doesnt do anything with the melody. Like TTK mentioned, the melody is repetitive in nature, which can be totally fine, but there are interesting things you can do with repetition. A thing you could do is changing the melody just by changing the chord with the bass. Example:
http://vocaroo.com/i/s0upwelUmavqThis way the repetition makes sense and the melody has a real reason to repeat and all you had to do was work out the bassline a little. I guess the choices you make should be made to appear more intentional like that and have everything work together. It also feels like its all loops of the same length and start and end all at the same time. Can you imagine how that could break a certain flow?
Of course, as with all musical suggestions, that's just what I would do if it was my song. You got to do it the way you want to do it and figure out what works for you by yourself.
One suggestion that might work universal is don't stop working on it. See the song as if it where a story with beginning, middle, end, interesting characters and maybe even some plot-twists and don't forget that books are a chore to read if its just the same few pages repeating over and over again.
A challenge I would like to suggest is to try to make a melody at least four times as long as you make them now and try have them change key and maybe even scale throughout without any repetition. Setting my DAW time-signature to 16/4 or if I'm feeling brave, 32/4, helped me a lot with that.
