congrats! both are unique and great. I found the monomachine easy to work with & oddly great for drums. wicked sounds too if you play with the plocks and it has a decent sequencer. I really do love Elekrons but have sold/traded 3 of them now...I traded the MnM recently for the odyssey because I've been moving in a mostly analog/electro acoustic direction, I have a dominion 1 and prophet 6 coming in the near future though which I'm really looking forward to.

Really into this track. Makes me think of Kraftwerk remixed by Seefeel. :)

Sure fits into my concept of pop!

The Prophet 6 is probably the best synth I've ever played with. Had mine a week or so now and I love it. Had to sell quite a bit of stuff to pay for it though...

I've come so close to selling the Monomachine a few times but I keep coming back to the FM machines and getting great sounds from them. I can recommend the free Oxford Overdrive and Immortal Waves packs to get some great waveforms into the DDRW machines. I get the best analog-ish sounds that way and from the SID machine. Funnily enough, I don't get along with the sequencer that well on it - great for p-locked modulation but not so intuitive for notes and melodies. I prefer to sequence mine externally.

Anyway, in an attempt to keep this on-topic, here's a track I got into a mostly finished state recently... :)

That's the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me!

Slipstream Fiction is supercool. The synths are lovely. The Ballard books were a very fitting choice for cover art.

Here's an album that I just finished. I've been working on it for years. Well, most of the songs were made fairly quickly but there was a lot tinkering, and I knew what kind of album I wanted and it just took a long time time to get the right songs in the right order. It's very diverse, instrumental as usual, and psychedelic.

Great track Lazerize it's got a great feel.

I'm doing a more synth pop based alias as Perfect X.. but still posting it on my Instruments of Flight soundcloud for now. Definitely inspired by some depeche mode in the earlier years. But obviously not as good ;)

Are you talking to me (I hear dinero) it's just a snippet and neads to be pulled apart and put together properly. Generally I get the main idea down and the major hook then pull it apart will it out and automate some effects. So it's far from done...

for those who stare at my soundcloud page it had been a couple weeks since i had posted something (so IMO i felt kind of out-of-practice)

i did some things which i turned into nearly 9-minute and 7-minute songs, they're pretty good

Cool, sammy! I always enjoy the progres you're making as a musician! Reminds me of early Autechre. You can try cutting those beats more or have them subtley evolve over time so I, as a listener have more reasons to stick around for the duration of the track. And nice breathy ambient athmosphere you got going on.

Hey im really loving the song you posted but I have to ask who szymon is whose songs you've reposted on your SC page? I'm loving some of that. It's rather In the vein of Benoit Pioulard but I'm liking it better.

Never mind just read the tragic story on szymon.

Is there some reason we can edit our posts after like 3 minutes?

No, and its very very frustrating and very annoying. I remember the days when one could've edited any message regardless of age before the big update. Those where the days.

It probably has something to do with the 2ndmouse affair, where things -appeared- to have been said and later deleted, but thats just guesswork.

Well I hate it when I make mistakes grammatically like I did in the previous post .. and sometimes I have something to add.. am at work and have to come back to it and then it's too late. It's really a fucking bummer and I'm sorry some people are such idiots that this is now a thing. Because it's not like quoting them wouldn't take care of the moronicness of certain posts even if they deleted it after the fact..
