Maybe I'll just send them a postal order c/o that old PO box. I'll receive something, eventually.

Don't worry, on June 15th they will tweet a video to remind you of their greatness.

Looks promising, but I think that's the cover of the new Mount Kimbie record which will be announced tomorrow.

yeah I agree

there's so much electronic music being made these days, it feels like it's reached a point of total saturation that most of it just fails to get me excited

a new BOC release would really get my senses tingling like a kid before Christmas (just like the good old days)

Yes, don't expect anything substantial on the BoC front for a few months yet.

LOL!

That has to suck when you try to promote yourself, and all anyone asks is "new BoC?" and then is let down.

...ouch.

I hate to admit it but that was my response as well when I saw this.

- They flipped the order of their playlists at https://www.youtube.com/user/boardsofcanada/playlists, the "Video Playlist" is now at the bottom, with "Tomorrow's Harvest" (aka the RFTD video) up top. they have also added all of their studio albums in the playlist view.

- You Could Feel the Sky is still broken at SoundCloud, it's been weeks so I feel more certain than ever that this is an intentional choice.

- 5 weeks until June 15th.

With threads like this, I'd be staying far away too.

Seriously though, he recently facilitated getting a book autographed by Capt/ Joe Kittinger (from the Dayvan Cowboy video) over to BoC.

Other than that, I think their subtle moves over the past year basically demand official radio silence when it comes to people asking about future plans and stuff like that.

the world is going to hell, so does it really need to be for another boc album?
I feel like on their last record they said just enough and it doesn't make sense, to say something more.
tho, if it's just a game, why not to pretend and play along?

if there are still someone who are willing to play, there's always will be a place for a dealer

I can't see any album playlists on there now. Have they been removed?

Do you mean on YouTube or SoundCloud? I see everything present and accounted for at both - but keep in mind with SoundCloud, the only time they've utilized the Playlists category was to create and delete a Geogaddi playlist within the same day - which triggered notifications to followers, presumably to draw attention to You Could Feel the Sky - all the tracks are in the Albums section, not Playlists.

If you don't see anything at SoundCloud at all, that could be a regional thing too.
