I believe the truth to be that they don’t care at all anymore, not that they ever did, but more in the earlier days than now for sure. Although we still have more activity between now and TH than from TCH EP to TH.

But seriously, I don't think it's that they don't care, they just come off as lazy perfectionists for lack of a better term.

99% of what they do most of the time seems to be for their own private amusement...I guess things like being providers or fulfilling a nagging 5 album contract leads to them putting the pedal to the metal every so often though.

When they go into it they go all in, but I'm guessing it gets harder/less desirable to get into that type of focus as time goes on, just the impression that i get

Maybe they are waiting for the perfect astrological time to release their final record, they've been doing music most of their life.

Maybe it starts to dawn on them that they are getting tired of it, or maybe this is why it takes so long between each album, maybe they take pauses as to make sure not to get tired of their passion.

Or maybe im misinterpreting, maybe when you have a passion you never get tired of it, how would I know, Every hobby I've partaken in has ended up in my getting bored and giving up. Music is probably the next one.

Sometimes I wonder if some of the stuff that we have .. we wouldn't have if they didn't have a contract, they don't owe use anything at all, WE owe them so much yet are we are being so demanding and greedy.

In the end, they have a life outside with family members/Kids maybe a grievance of some sort we don't know about, they have jobs too.

I like to think the album's been there finished and ready for at least 2 or 3 years but numerologically speaking they are waiting for some sort of number to publish it on.

Maybe they are waiting for us to decide the day it comes out

I say 9 November 2018, thank you very much!

I like the way you think, you're just as crazy as me apparently. Having some "final" (or just any album period) sitting on the shelf for a period of time with the intention of being released at a specific time decided in the past would be such a Boards thing to do, it's really what I've felt this has all been about, speculation-wise.

I'm a huge fan of November 9th myself.

September 17th (this is one that I feel especially strong about for various reasons, some previously expressed, some not), November 13th and January 13th 2019 have all been favorite dates of mine for quite awhile too.

The answer is none of the above though

I say everytime we mention a date they remove it and eventually end up with one date, the one nobody expected. If we go trough all of the day in the year except one maybe we get to decide which day it comes out or else it'll mean someone guessed the date, which would maybe play on their ego a bit.

Check mate!

Was boc pressured into making there music public? And now the publicity is more of a curse then a dream?
Maybe this is why they don't talk to much.

MDG wrote in 2008: "At this point, the box set of early material is looking 99% likely to happen. I say that because it hasn't been finally compiled yet. There's a big archive to get through, " "So the time involved is the only issue from what I understand"

Maybe they are just carefully remastering and making a boxset of oldstuff

Which would be my dream. Maybe they want to release it with a new album on top of that, which would be double the time.

Don't get impatient now :P

Something new will come, in time. To stop waiting makes all the difference.

Perhaps they find some other things to be equally or more important than getting another release out. Although, surely they still find that to be very important.

Looks like Geogaddi went missing from YT/Google Play a couple days ago...

Yep, it is rather weird. Also looks like that they haven't updated the "Why" playlist in two days, when it is usually bumped/refreshed every day. I can still find the Geogaddi playlist by searching it (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... Ot2AVku0_q), but it isn't in their official playlists anymore. Hmmmm.

No reason to keep Good Friday bumped anymore now that the video is out, right?

Yeah that's true. I really like that video too, the animation is on point.

Been listening to a ton of Old Tunes/R35TT lately to keep myself occupied. That's been a ton of fun.

Have you been crunching any numbers lately? :D

Im sure they both have other things that keep them occupied when theyre not working on music. Although i couldnt imagine they havent made enough money from music to not be able to live comfortably.

It's all lifestyle and living within your means. They don't seem like the sorts to fly around the world in private jets or whatever.

We'd be getting live performances and them licensing their tunes out for advertisements more than once every couple years if whatever they're doing wasn't working for them.
