BoC is everywhere.... there is even a Geogaddi sticker in one of the bathroom stalls at one of the local bars....
I would say they are more popular and loved now than ever.... at least up here...
people seem to “appreciate” what they create much like other music legends from the past
Minnesota Public Radio (MPR) plays them often as bumpers for some of their radio programs

Somewhere on the opposite side of the country I'm yet to find someone who even know's what BoC is.

interesting... whereabouts are ya in this country?

right on... never asked for details ha so all is good... just curious because you said BoC is almost nonexistent...
minnesota is fairly diverse in a lot of ways.... especially as you get closer to Minneapolis and St. Paul

the owner of one of the most popular venues/clubs there called “First Avenue” is obsessed with Tycho, BoC, Bonobo, etc...

Speaking of locations, anyone here from Scotland? specifically the Edinburgh / Fife area.
Sometimes i wish i could hear new material being mastered whilst walking the streets... blissfully blowing through the wind from their studio to my ears... never come close though. Going back to what Soul_Slip said, im surprised how big they seem to be over there. Considering ive never noticed any following for them over here. They did have a tomorrows harvest poster on underground solushn's window, but thats a record shop... so...

I'd be curious to know the vinyl sales figures for Aphex Twin's "Collapse EP," for example, but I'm sure they are healthy. The brothers have released so many amazing albums that the bar is set very, very high, and there's no way they're going to rush an album release before it's as close to perfection as possible.

I'm not losing hope if you mean I think they're done making music. What I'm basically saying is that the way we're used to consuming BoC might change because of the current landscape in the music industry. Would you be totally shocked if the next time you hear new BoC was in a film score? I mean a soundtrack to an actual film, maybe a theatrical release or maybe from one of the streaming platforms like Netflix. I wouldn't be that surprised. And it might be really cool, if done with the right collaborators. I'm just throwing stuff out there partially out of boredom, but also because I see other artists doing new things, looking at other avenues to create and distribute their work.

I also think the decline of the album format raises the chances of BoC actually getting out of the house and doing some live performances. That's something that many of us have been begging for, yeah?

What if they instead released a film under Music70 to the public.
If there this good with sound who know's what there films would look like.

I was reading the old MDG replies section on Bocpages, and I noticed he would often verify that a new album was on its way before Tomorrow's Harvest came out. I don't think he's done that after TH has he?

On the other hand, he also said that a boxset was coming out, but it was going to take a long time for that to happen. Perhaps that is their next project in the pipeline? I'll just trust his words because he was right about Tomorrow's Harvest eventually.
Warning: This numerology post is not to be taken 2 seriously.

Not sure about mdg but the bros said in an interview that there wouldn't be as long a wait for the next album as there was between TCH and TH

A live show would be wonderful... I also admit I'd be happy with a film score. Hecq's Ben Lucas Boysen released his soundtrack for the PC game "Everything" on vinyl, and apparently it sounds great (not to say that BoC will create a game score, but I'd be fine with them trying a new format).

Anyone have any idea why they would tag @uLethbridge (University of Lethbridge) in this post?

Think that safely puts to bed there is a structure, egg hunt/arg based systematic tweeting. Unless of course Pete Standing Alone’s death is part of it!

RIP Pete Standing Alone, he seemed to live a full and interesting life. The NFB films were a good watch and I always appreciated the themes that he and they brought to MHTRTC.

And yes, i like to think that we would have heard from them today (for a couple of reasons) but I like to speculate that the video choice would have originally been Split Your Infinities.
