i guess all my favourite comedians are just mean, bad people. lmao.... jesus

there was nothing wrong with how i used the word.

the only thing truly wrong here is adults not being able to handle reality.

if you were offended by me saying "retarded" i suggest exploring the world of comedy a little more.

but anyway yeah i probably won't be here much after this.

not really cool with woke mobs.

I used to say that word too until it was described by friends with autism, or friends who had kids with disabilities, that it hurts people.

It's a word that people get called while they're having the shit beaten out of them for being different. It brings up a lot of painful memories for people. Is it really the sort of thing that you need to use in a sentence? Is there another way you could say the same thing without using a word that's associated with abuse for so many people?

Everyone makes mistakes and gets corrected. Maturity is taking it in stride and changing your behavior. That's something we can all respect. Saying "fuck you, I don't care if this hurts people, I'm going to keep saying this word just because I can and I'm going to walk away when you talk to me about it" is hard to respect.

If you want to leave a community because people are expressing how they feel about your choice of words, that's your prerogative.

I get you though, forums like these can have very tender people using them but at the same time, it's maybe a good thing every now and again to just look at your own behaviour and grow a little.

Mods: I think we can safely delete pages 34 to 35 and move on. ROYGBRUH's original comment was fair and quite valid. The responses have been over the top and completely unnecessary.

Not many years ago, everyone in real life and online were saying "That's gay!" as a negative. As innocent as it felt at the time, you soon realise that it is actually unacceptable and you retrain and better yourself.
You could feel the bullshit

By which I mean the one raging against the "woke", not those taking him up on his poor use of language.

Maybe not the term to use at a job interview, but I don't think ColinWallis meant anything by it. Let's move on....

The "FREEDOM OF SPEECH" people are usually the first to completely melt down when others exercise their own freedom of speech to call them out. It's a wonderful bit of irony.

I can completely understand the beauty in the brothers want for privacy and escape. I also can appreciate their apprehension early in their career (and likely still now...) for not having an internet presence. Not worth the headache, honestly.
There are a lot of different 'me's, you know. There's the mad me, when I get angry.

Agreed. If I could go back to the beginning of my online presence and start over, knowing what I know about the state of the net now, I would completely abstain from forming any kind of online presence at all. It's seriously not necessary to one's survival. At all.

Also, yeah BoC and etc.

From Byron Wallen's official website https://www.byronwallen.co.uk

The Wallen theory seems about right, even though there are no upcoming events in the live section of the site

If anybody missed this, here's a better representation of Byron covering BOC than the soundcloud sample

Each to their own and all that, but that's pretty terrible. Acid jazz BoC.

TBH this is probably what the acoustic MHTRTC sounds like, Not saying I wouldn't like to hear it (once), but I believe the bros when they say it's lame.

It's funny how some people claim that BOC is elevator music, but honestly, I think that's BOC as elevator music! I like it for that reason even if it kind of reminds me of Spinal Tap Mk 2
