how about you go and listen to One Very Important Thought again, and never tell me what to or not to say.

How about you calm yourself down.

I would be remiss if I didn't point out the irony of calling this a woke forum when someone like me is still allowed to roam free. It's definitely a little bit absurd, backward, balmy, boneheaded, crazy, cretinous, daft, dense, dim-witted, dull, dumb, empty-headed, feeble-minded, foolish, gormless, half-baked, half-witted, idiotic, ignorant, imbecilic, insane, mad, mindless, moronic, rash, reckless, ridiculous, senseless, simple, simple-minded, slow-witted, soft, thick, thoughtless, unintelligent, unqualified, unreasonable, unsophisticated, unwise, weak-minded, or witless to call this a woke forum in my opinion, but I get it. I guess. This isn't ResetEra after all.

On a completely related note, I'm kind of sad I'll never get to hear a Daft Punk remix of Boards of Canada now. I big and loud Ultra Festival-style dance version of June 9th would have been a banger.

Only the BOCvatar, master of the four analogs could bring balance to the Twoism forum. But when the world needed him most, he vanished. :(

Daft Punk had a third member Daniel Bangalter. That's why they started wearing helmets, so he could get involved in the live show. Also, KLF are Daft Punk. They split in 1992 and Daft Punk formed in 1993, daft punk split in 2021 and KLF are rumoured to make a come back. It's quite possible that the KLF are Boards of Canada too.

"One thing we tried to do," pursues Eoin, "and we're trying to do more of, is a sense that you're hearing a piece of music that comes through the wringer a bit - it's definitely not coming literally. It's not just a guy standing in front of you with the latest keyboard workstation. There's a sense that you're listening to a tune, but how many times has that been copied from tape to tape to tape... by the time it's reached you it's crumbled, it's turned into powder. "You hear about monks in the Middles ages using a pen to create a Bible or a piece of art, and they'll do it for 40 years in the dark underneath a monastery," he continues, "and they'll be blind by the time they've finished. And some people really appreciate art like that, because there's something really tragic about it. It's almost like it's more beautiful than any other art, because instead of it being someone comfortably painting something in a day, there's something absolutely tragic and destroyed about it. So I always think you can still go further up the run from 'beautiful music', and that's beautiful music that seems to come out of some tragedy or brokenness. It becomes even more beautiful, the shards if the sound coming through are even more vibrant and affecting."

I think Marcus Eoin, at least, would be happy with a 40 year window between releases

Very good stuff and I undertsand. Imagine getting a new boc record in the 3-5 years after today with track names like "time travell" "last pioneer signal" "11light years away" It would make perfect sense and compliment the music inside. I was thinking, what made Th great is not just music but the idea of it being a production from way before, probably years in the past and finally it is here. it is here to your complete judgement. Music is speaking to you now.

At this point I'm not entirely sure that I'm not Daft Punk.

I'm still surprised that something actually did happen yesterday
Can't help but imagine M&M doing this as a joke

Did it actually happen *yesterday* or was it some other day in the last couple of weeks? Someone on here keeping a log to track changes on their official websites? I've been using https://followthatpage.com/ for ages but I had it only on daily monitor for their official http://www.boardsofcanada.com/ website. Not their Youtube channels.

I've now also added the about sections of their two official Youtube channels. I wonder if this tracker website picks up changes properly over there too.

Can't give you an answer but it must have been happened very recently as I think there are dozens of people checking their channels on a daily basis

If they truly moved back to the UK, it might be a good sign. After all, that's where their record company is. Also could be putting the finishing touches on their album.

yes this is definitely an appropriate response cause i used the word retarded, not directly at someone.

being rude is freedom, and yeah that definitely was woke bullshit that i was called out so much.

bunch of fucking fools.

enjoy ripping on me more for no good reason.

create an atmosphere where adults can't handle slightly offensive language to the point where your embarrassingly pathetic woke mobs will continue to form, and single out normal people who don't cry about the R word.

think about it

i didn't call anyone retarded, and this is still a topic in here.

you really should be embarrassed of yourselves.

i even apologized and said everything i should have, but you people still want to virtue signal and play moral high ground nonsense, trying to make me feel guilty. lmao

it is pathetic as all hell.
