which of course makes you think: Satellite Anthem IcarusA ghost of aviation
She was swallowed by the sky
Or by the sea like me she had a dream to fly
Like Icarus ascending
On beautiful foolish arms
Amelia it was just a false alarm

But it's impossible to tell since there was activity from both the suspicious accounts (the HI facebook, Seoul Boundary, Marcus account) and the confirmed accounts (Facebook, Twitter.)
This is either a prank one-upping Catherine Fell or one giant disinformation clusterfuck that might be related to the theme of the next album.
Either way, it's been fun and no hard feelings. Anything that gets fifty people on the site brings joy to my heart.

I think the chance that it's some massive hoax is essentially zero, especially considering the activity lined up with a bunch of new Twitter likes and an official FB post, combined with all the signs that the Hell Interface FB account is real.
A period of inactivity doesn't mean that it's all over... All this increasing activity over the past few months has felt like tremors before an earthquake.
You sure about that quote? I did some searching here and did not find anything yet.Antares wrote:Yeah, hate to be a spoil-sport, but I echo the sentiments of whoever said that this is essentially Red Moon pt. 2. Odds are that these posts were a total red herring, and any attempt on our part to decipher them or look for clues as to how they may explain upcoming releases will be futile. There's a chance that BoC themselves had nothing to do with it. I remember seeing an MDG quote once about how the band doesn't even have much to do with maintaining their social media accounts. Who's to say someone wasn't just having a bit of fun before getting the command to make everything going dark? At least they served to get people talking and break up the monotony of late-quarantine life, but I'll be surprised if we get any clarification on what these brief bubbles of activity meant.
At the same time, though, I never expected they would use an official profile to post a Raiders of the Lost Ark video, so hey, anything's possible. There's also the odd parallel of the video itself being a zombie animated and singing - kind of like the band re-animating the dead corpse of the account, no? Does this connection really imply anything deeper, or is it just a byproduct of man's pattern-seeking nature? The answer, my friends...

to clear this up: the myspace page was taken over by warp some time ago, and is now maintained by both warp staff and a couple of friends of the band, on a 'when time permits' basis. the 'you and i' player on the page is apparently only visible to US users, and was added by myspace themselves. they've been contacted a few times with requests to remove the 'you and i' thing but they've ignored the requests.
