I obviously could be wrong, but I'd be surprised if a new album does come out in the next 6 months. There's too much activity and it's been going on 8 years.

Oh yeah. There were quite a few odd YouTube videos popping up around that time mirroring the TH arg’s aesthetics, some of which were quite good in their own right. There was one based around 70’s nature broadcasting that, despite the played-out theme, had exceptionally well-produced music and visuals. Wilderness Reserve or something like that? Another that sticks out was a floating orb against a black background. Simple enough to be deeply mysterious, unlike the forgettable fakes that tried too hard.

I always suspected this one was a possible genuine BoC track. It was posted in the comments to one of the actual TH videos.

I'm sure I'm years behind, but the language of that title is "Khannada"
Just thought that was interesting
also the song itself sounds really nice, very BoC-y

Interesting... the translation of the title, ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ, from Kannada to English is "quickly" or "soon."

Kannada...funny joke . Also, this video is unlisted from the respective channel. Have they been playing with us since then?

There’s no indication that that channel has anything to do with BoC. It showed up mimicking the attributes of the Hell Interface channel but it’s only links to Boards was through it commenting that unlisted video. Warp or the official channel have never acknowledged it and there’s nothing tying it to BoC so it’s safe to say it’s one of many hoaxes and a dead end to further investigate.

It doesn't really sound like BoC to me unless they are kind of half-jokingly parodying themselves, i.e writing something to sound like a BoC fake. In fact, if BoC made a fake fake, I imagine that it would sound a lot like this.

I'm writing this half jokingly as well, but one never knows.
Maybe there are fake BoC fakes out there.

That khannada track doesn't sound anything like BoC to me, unfortunately. Maybe vaguely like Echus because they're both ambient? Sounds like a pleasant, random ambient piece.

It's nice, but sounds a bit too "modern" (sounds like digital synths) to be BoC

There's something I've been thinking about, since it was discovered that the Pioneer Plaque was uploaded to the Hell Interface bandcamp account: https://hellinterface.bandcamp.com/community

What reason would they have to do this? You can dismiss the YT banner changing in September as a way to get the attention of their hardcore fans/stir up some activity, but on something like BandCamp, where you have to go out of your way to even find the banner change by adding /community to the url? They might not even have known that people could see the banner when they uploaded it. In my opinion, this means that the next project we're getting will be something from Hell Interface, and not on the official BoC moniker.

Yep, you only get to see the banner on the main page once something has been uploaded. Maybe there is a plan! :o

The music and video look and sound similar to the stuff this guy made back in 2019: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcwxS2 ... w/featured

Probably just a coincidence his name is "Semena Mertvykh"

Wait I thought someone else created that Hell Interface bandcamp page and then it was taken over... How could that banner have been uploaded in 2013 if the account was only created last year or whatever?

I don't remember anyone saying that the banner was uploaded to the bandcamp in 2013, the image itself was created in 2013

Some guy posted on either here or reddit about it. He squatted the domain on bandcamp, went online boasting about it, and then got a message from BC saying that the real owner had claimed it off them - or something like that. That was in Sept. So the page was only set up then.

Oh that's the date of the image... Okay I just assumed it was the upload date of the image. Okay so if they've had that image for years and then uploaded it after they acquired the bandcamp that's much more exciting!

Says that Hell Interface's location is Michigan. I think it's safe to say that the Sufjan Stevens ambient album is a BOC collab. ;)

I'm kidding, but some of it actually sounds like it, weirdly enough. :P Be cool if the "satanists" teamed up with a Christian haha

I am hoping/guessing they are building up to record store day(s), with official promo starting June 12 and release on july 17. Seems like the perfect opportunity. They used it for the TH release and we know the brothers like to support it.
