BOC have a history of posting on puppet and unverified accounts anyway so it's nothing new.
They seem to enjoy teasing us every so often.Echelon wrote:SamuraiDrifter wrote:The Hell Interface FB page is legit and I'm pretty sure they were just trolling us with that flurry of activity back in April.

The ultimate question is why?

Not exactly sure why.

I think this bodes well for the future of MBV, and I think by extent, it might inspire BOC to get their butts out there too. Imagine if BOC set up a store like that; perhaps with expanded reissues of their four classic albums.

This is the Ochre e-commerce platform developed by Warp/Bleep and it's skyrocketed in popularity since launching a couple years ago. I see so many artists and labels using it nowadays, which is honestly pretty cool given its origins. I bet it's making a lot of money for Warp.
I completely agree though, I can totally imagine BoC utilising this platform further down the line, particularly for archival releases. Aphex did the same thing around 4 years ago, although he's not really maintained it as much as everyone hoped. (The store launched with a load of bonus material/expanded editions but barely anything has been added since.)
I think it's a safe bet that the next BoC release (if there is one) will coincide with the launch of a webstore built on this platform, especially as most Warp acts have their own designated Ochre page now.
