I think one of the biggest arguments in this favor is the Pioneer Plaque banner which looks quite pagan in design. A lot of the tracks on Societas are kind of that 60s and 70s Sun Ra type psychedelia, I think this kind of music works well with BOC in comparison to straight up campy space soundtracks like Queen's Flash Gordon album or John Williams from Star Wars
