Backlash is a widely displayed negative reaction to an event, I cannot see that be well intended.
Nihilism is an outlook on the world in both sociological and political avenues, it's not an outlook on wether the Scottish band boards of canada are going to release another album. With respect, it's possible your definitions could be slightly muddled.

Maybe my choice of wording wasn't perfect, but that's because my knowledge of the English lexicon isn't as vast as you native speakers. What I meant was that my will smith meme definitely was definitely a well intended jokingly reply to his rant. I thought that was obvious. It even referenced him as the forum nihilist and me as the boc conjecture freak. Lighten up, all.

Compare that to all the other IDMers and that really makes you think negative thoughts about BOCs future. Sometimes you think you're simply praising a ghost all the time.
But here's the thing. I'm the opposite. I see BOC returning as one of the only things in the world not related to my actual life to have faith in. The music is that damn great. I revisited a lot of BOCs music recently and guess what? It's still my favorite music ever made. Those guys pioneered the whole hip hop beats to study to genre but turned it into an art.
So you know what? I'll use BOC taking a long time to return as a reason to have faith rather than feel hopeless about it.
Remember how they were said to be at the plant? Think how long ago that was. Eventually it'll have to come out
